Job summary
Hill Rise Assessment and Treatment Service in Newhaven is part of a lively multi-disciplinary service for adults with severe mental illness. The service sits within the beautiful landscape of the South Downs National Park and is only a few miles from the cosmopolitan city of Brighton.
Over community mental health services are undergoing an exciting transformation as we move to a more integrated service delivery model. Nurses play a pivotal role in providing safe and effective care.

Main duties of the job
As a Community Mental Health Nurse in our service you will be focused on improving outcomes for service users, working creatively with them and their carers to co-create care and risk plans that will help them achieve their goals and live as independently as possible.
No two days are the same. You will use your nursing expertise to respond to clinical need and you will enjoy the variety and autonomy that the role brings. The key to success in this role is often building effective partnerships with patients and Carers but also with our partner agencies.
