Community Nurse Lifespan Infographic relaunched

The Queen’s Institute of Community Nursing is delighted to share the updated edition of its popular “Community Nurse Lifespan” infographic, which highlights the vital contribution of community nurses at every stage of life – from pre-conception through to older age.

Originally launched in 2022, the resource has been refreshed with our new branding and design, plus a new column highlighting the nurses – such as General Practice Nurses – who support people throughout their lives.

While the look has evolved, the message remains the same: community nurses play a unique and continuous role in people’s lives.

From pregnancy and childhood, through adolescence and adulthood, to care in later years, the infographic captures the breadth of nursing expertise across the lifespan, including Health Visitors, District Nurses, Community Children’s Nurses, School Nurses, Adult Social Care Nurses and more.

We hope this updated poster continues to be a valuable tool for education, awareness, and advocacy – and a celebration of the impact of community nursing.
