QICN announces staff changes
Following an internal process, two senior members of staff at the Queen’s Institute of Community Nursing have started new roles within the organisation.
Dr Cate Wood takes up a new position as Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Nursing Programmes (Leadership). Dr Wood is a Queen’s Nurse who has led and developed the QICN’s Leadership Programmes in recent years.
She led the launch of the ‘Leading Strategically’ programme for senior nurse leaders in the community, and the ‘Ambition to Lead’ programme for nurses who are at an earlier stage in their career.
Edina Peto, previously QICN Events and Membership Manager, becomes Head of Commercial Operations.
The expanded role involves overseeing the development and implementation of a comprehensive events strategy, leading the delivery of the QICN organisational membership scheme and building relationships with key corporate partners to increase sponsorship revenue.
Steph Lawrence MBE, QICN Chief Executive, said: “Congratulations to Cate and Edina on their new positions, which reflect the growing range and complexity of the QICN’s operations.
“The QICN is fortunate to benefit from their knowledge, skills and experience, strengthening our senior leadership team.”
