QICN named supporting partner for CPGP Conference

The Queen’s Institute of Community Nursing (QICN) is delighted to be a supporting partner of the Community Pharmacy and General Practice (CPGP) Conference 2026, taking place 21 to 22 June 2026, at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham.

This major two day event will bring together more than 1,000 primary care professionals, including community pharmacists, General Practice Nurses, GPs, Community Nurses, practice managers, Primary Care Nurses, clinical pharmacists, PCN and ICB leaders and wider multidisciplinary teams.

The conference aims to strengthen collaboration across primary care and support the development of integrated neighbourhood health services.

Delegates will have access to 10 CPD points, over 40 sessions, 80 plus speakers and a programme structured around key themes such as Clinical Skills, Collaboration in Action, Business and Service Innovation, Leadership and Workforce, Technology and AI for Integration.

As a supporting partner, the QICN is proud to champion the role of community nursing in shaping future care models.

The QICN will be exhibiting on Monday, June 22, and look forward to meeting attendees, sharing insights and supporting discussions on improving patient care through cross‑sector collaboration.

Its Chief Executive, Steph Lawrence MBE, will be speaking on day two, contributing her expertise to the conversation around strengthening neighbourhood‑based primary care and the vital role of community nursing within integrated teams.

She said: “I think this conference will be really important for General Practice Nurses as a core part of the primary health care team, and this will be a great opportunity to raise the profile of general practice nursing.”

The conference is free to attend, and early registration is encouraged. For more information or to secure your place, please visit the official event page
