QICN staff honour Dr Crystal Oldman CBE on retirement
As Dr Crystal Oldman CBE stepped down as Chief Executive of the Queen’s Institute of Community Nursing (QICN) on 30 June 2025, the staff team extended its deepest gratitude for her outstanding leadership, vision and unwavering dedication to community nursing.
Since taking up the post in 2012, Dr Oldman has been a tireless champion for community nurses, advocating for their essential role in delivering high-quality care to people in their homes and communities across the UK.
Under her leadership, the organisation has grown in influence and reach, providing stronger support, voice, and recognition for nurses working in all community settings.
Her legacy is one of compassion, integrity and transformative leadership. Dr Oldman’s work has inspired a generation of nurses and leaders, and her commitment to equity and excellence in community care will continue to shape the profession for years to come.
